Contribution to an edited volume on vulnerability in qualitative research. The chapter draws on a participatory research workshop on experiences of violence and explores how personal vulnerability can be reflected upon and used as a resource within the research process.

A book written as part of the process of building RECASAS, primarily for potential future co-owners of RECASAS (Gesellschafterinnen) and others seriously interested in helping to develop the organization.

A book for a wider audience exploring what might change if respect were treated not simply as a matter of politeness or kindness, but as something that shapes the structures we create, the institutions we work in, and the ways we help, teach, lead, research, and live with one another. A memoir beginning with an involuntary hospitalization in New York City and unfolding as a reflection on how I arrived in this obscure situation — tracing experiences of loss, violence, and displacement between Berlin and New York.
