2025 January 11 POETRY SLAM DEBUT
2022 Theater der Verrückten (Theater der Verrückten): Die:Der Jasager:in. Die:Der Neinsager:in. The “Theater of the Mad” (Theater der Verrückten) is a creative ensemble challenging discrimination, stigmatization, and oppression faced by people with mental health challenges. Through self-developed scenes, they use their conflicts as material to explore change with their audience. Using “Forum Theater,” a method from Augusto Boal’s “Theater of the Oppressed,” they test solutions directly on stage. I had the privilege of taking part in one season, contributing to this inspiring and transformative work.
2021 TV-Show @ Deutsche Welle: COVID-19 remembering lives lost (Ingrid’s interview starts at – 1:10 – The obituary featured in my Deutsche Welle interview can be viewed here.)
2019 THE MOTH StorySlam @ Ricxh Mix in London – Theme Bold (more on that via this link)
2011 TV-SHOW: Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten (GZSZ) (Block 964) – Role: Passerby The shoot took place on the outdoor set “Kiez” at the studio lot in Potsdam-Babelsberg. I was asked to walk down an artificial street a couple of times.
2011 TV-SHOW: Show Barbara Salesch – Das Strafgericht (Case: ‘Rote Lippen soll man küssen’) – Role: Expert witness as lip reader, Dr. Elena Berning The show is similar to Judge Judy in format. I was flown from Berlin to Hürth for the day of shooting, expecting small scenes. To my surprise, they aimed to shoot the entire show in one take. During my turn, the attorney for the defendant (Uwe Krechel) kept going off script, leaving me unsure of what to say, but I pulled through. All in all, it was a fun challenge!”
1990 STAGE: MARIANNE AND THE LARGE MAN included in the show titled: …viewpoints…a showcase for theater, dance, and performance works @ EXTRAPOLATING STUDIO – 220 East 4th St. (4th floor), NY, NY 1009 (Check out the original flyer here for more details) In my first NYC performance as Mariane, I stood at a bar, looking sad while ‘the large man,’ Ron Walker, stroked my shoulder for comfort. Without moving, tears began quietly falling down my cheeks—completely unplanned, as they only appeared during the live show. It was a simple but emotional moment, a memorable start to my journey in New York.
1981 STAGE: Italian Night (Italienische Nacht) by Ödön von Horváth – Role: Anna
High school play at Kreisgymnasium St. Ursula, Haselünne, Germany In Italienische Nacht, I play Anna, a girlfriend so dedicated to the cause that I’m willing to go to ridiculous lengths—like almost sleeping with a fascist—all just to support my boyfriend and help the activists. It’s a role that shows how far Anna (and I!) will go for love, loyalty, and, well, a little political espionage!
